Bright Banksia

I was itching to draw but all I had with me were bright coloured pencils... an almost neon sketch unfolded in front of me! Creating something with random colours pushed me past my usual naturalistic style. I continued on creating a tapestry from that sketch, using my brightest paints and embellishing the yellow accents with thread.
