Sassy Seedpod

In a crisp white frame, this seed pod stands out. The velvety, yellow pods of the dried banksia emerge from the blue fluffy base. An even darker blue creates a shadow, with a fun yellow embroidered outline. The materials I used to make this tapestry were all redirected from landfill: discarded fishing line, linnen and a shirt that couldn't be donated, fabric from second hand stores (The Sewing Basket and Reverse Garbage).
